College Guidance Starts Here
College Connect is Oakbrook’s personalized, four-year college guidance program.
Beginning in 9th grade, teens take weekly classes and work with dedicated counselors to discover strengths, interests, and goals.
From test prep to course selection and application support, College Connect gives students and their families the tools to confidently pursue the right college and career path.
College Credit through AP Classes and Dual Enrollment
At Oakbrook, we believe high school should do more than prepare students for college—it should give them a head start. That’s why we offer a comprehensive Advanced Placement (AP) program alongside Dual Enrollment partnerships with local colleges and universities.
Our students graduate with a strong record of achievement, typically completing a combination of 6–10 advanced courses and earning the equivalent of 22 college credits. Many even enter college with sophomore standing, saving valuable time and tuition while opening the door to early internships, study abroad opportunities, or a lighter college course load.
This unique blend of AP and Dual Enrollment provides more than academic rigor—it gives Oakbrook students the confidence, preparation, and momentum to thrive in college and beyond..
We’re here to help.
It’s important to feel confident in your school choice, and we’re happy to answer your questions and walk you through the application process.
