Beta Club Shines at Regional Leadership Summit

Six members of Oakbrook’s Beta Club recently attended the Regional Leadership Summit in Sevierville, Tennessee, where they represented our school with excellence in both leadership and competition.
During the summit, students participated in dynamic leadership training sessions alongside Beta Clubs from other schools across the region. They also competed in two categories—Beta Blitz and the Collaborative Connection Challenge—earning high scores in both. Their outstanding performance has officially qualified them to compete at the National Beta Club Convention in June 2026.
The attending members were:
- Alex Garland
- Bethany Grindle
- Kelsey Land
- Aylah Matkins
- Ayden Moore
- Mayanne West
In addition to competition success, Oakbrook’s Beta Club members also showcased their creativity in design. Their original T-shirt design has advanced to the final round of review at the National Beta Club Headquarters. If selected, the shirt will be produced and sold nationally—with a portion of the proceeds returning to Oakbrook. Our Beta Club has already committed to donating those proceeds to a charity of their choice, reflecting both the spirit of service and leadership that defines Beta.
We are incredibly proud of these students and look forward to cheering them on at Nationals in 2026!
