In 1992, our founder, Rosemary Moore, had a vision…

A vision of providing the Spartanburg community with a high-quality, independent, Christ-centered educational option. Starting with only 18 students meeting in a church basement, we have grown to a current enrollment of over 450 students and now occupy a beautiful 38-acre campus. Over the past two decades we have succeeded in helping hundreds of students discover their God-given potential and develop the critical skills needed to succeed in college and in life.

Despite our exponential growth, Oakbrook still maintains our original mission of providing a quality learning experience for each and every student. Fulfilling that mission has been made possible largely through the generous support of the Oakbrook community and their recognition that tuition dollars alone will not sustain our shared vision of a world-class educational environment.

Our Fundraising efforts at Oakbrook focus on four main areas:

  • Annual Fund
    The Oakbrook annual fund helps to cover the day-to- day expenses of our Campus and bridges the gap between tuition income and our operating budget. Gifts to the fund allow us to maintain an affordable tuition and provide additional educational opportunities for our students through academic rigor, athletics and the arts.
  • Capital Campaign
    Gifts to the Oakbrook Capital campaign help Oakbrook continue to grow and expand our facilities. Our campus goal is to provide facilities that create a high-quality learning environment for our students. In recent years generous gifts to the campaign have enabled us to upgrade our science and technology labs, STEAM lab, additional parking, classroom space, and improve our campus athletic facilities.
  • Star Fund
    At Oakbrook we view our teachers as one of our most valuable assets. Our goal is to invest in our STARS with the tax-deductible STAR Fund (Superior, Talent, Achievement, and Retention). With your help, Oakbrook faculty will continue developing their skills in the classroom helping our students grow to be independent learners.
  • Once Upon Knight Auction
    Parents, friends, grandparents, and our alumni are invited to this special auction and fundraiser. It’s a fun night to dress up and have fun while supporting Oakbrook!

Volunteering

Like any community, our school is strengthened by the involvement of its families.

We encourage all parents to be actively participating in school activities in some capacity.
