academic Support – bridges

Oakbrook Preparatory School believes each child is brilliantly made and encourages students to discover and cultivate their individual talents and abilities.

The Bridges Program enhances the educational experience for all students in Kindergarten through 12th grade, helping each child reach their full God-given potential and fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Students who have been diagnosed within the last three years by a licensed professional with a learning disability, processing deficit, or ADD/ADHD may be eligible for services. Support may include:

  • Academic coaching and organizational strategies
  • Study skills development
  • Standardized testing preparation and support
  • Time management guidance
  • Classroom accommodations tailored to individual needs

Under the leadership of Director of Bridges, Genia Batson, the program partners with families and teachers to provide personalized, Christ-centered support that equips students for success in school and beyond.
