How long have you been at Oakbrook: 5 years

How do you like to spend your free time: Most of my free time is spent volunteering at Oakbrook, but I also enjoy Clemson Football, reading and watching Hallmark or criminal shows. My family is die-hard Clemson fans… Go Tigers!

What do you love most about your position: The part I love about my job is interacting with people. There is never a dull moment and I always find something to laugh about.

What do you love most about working at Oakbrook: My family finding Oakbrook was an answered prayer and God’s guidance. We moved to Spartanburg six years ago and were touring public schools for my son Conner (Class of 2021) to attend. After touring, we ran into multiple people and signs that led us to Oakbrook. We toured once and loved it. The front desk job was icing on the cake. We liked the small classroom size, the Christian focus, a top notch Language Arts program and, of course, the athletics! As an employee, I enjoy the diversity in the backgrounds of the staff. I’m always learning something new! With a background in Social Work and Law Enforcement, being the “front desk lady” is a nice change! Go Knights!
