How long have you been at Oakbrook: 20 years

How do you like to spend your free time: Exercise classes, jigsaw puzzles, crossword puzzles, hiking with my family.

What do you love most about teaching: When Carol Whitworth, former Preschool Director, asked me to work at Oakbrook when my kids started K4, I said, "I'm not a teacher. What could I do?" I've learned that Oakbrook needs people with many different gifts.

What do you love most about working at Oakbrook: I believe strongly in the mission of this school. I think it is unique, at least in the region if not the Eastern United States because of our interdenominational Christian identity, and the commitment to excellence in all three: arts, academics, and athletics. I have used my gifts and talents to equip the teachers to teach, and support them in any way I can, because they used to teach my children. It is a positive, uplifting place to work because we all love Jesus and strive to serve him through this school.
