How long have you been at Oakbrook: First year at Oakbrook, 12th year as a high school English teacher.

How do you like to spend your free time: I love to read, run/walk with my dog, and play games with my family.

What do you love most about teaching: I love teaching high schoolers! They offer a fresh new perspective on the different themes and topics we discuss in class. I enjoy teaching English because we read and analyze amazing literature, and I love watching my students make connections between their own lives and the stories we read.
