How long have you been at Oakbrook: This is my second year at Oakbrook.
How do you like to spend your free time: In my free time, I enjoy going to the beach and lake with my family. I also love time of fellowship with my church family at VBS and other church activities. I love spending time with my family in Atlanta, too!
What do you love most about teaching: The thing I love most about teaching at Oakbrook is that I can build relationships with each student to help them grow both academically, socially, and be a part of their faith journey. I LOVE my students and players! All my decisions both in the classroom and on the soccer field are made to help build character, confidence, and a strong math foundation to help them be successful in the future. I think it is super important to provide developmentally appropriate support to optimize growth. Middle school can be a difficult time in a student's journey but with the right support it can be an amazing experience!!
What do you love most about working at Oakbrook: I love the family atmosphere of Oakbrook. We are student focused with a team teaching approach. The students are awesome young people and their families are AMAZING!! Friendship and connections formed with parents make the educating students part of my career so rewarding!
