Please use a permanent marker to label the following items with your child's name.
1 Sturdy Plastic shoebox with lid just large enough to hold these items:
1 box of 24 crayons, 2 boxes of 8 crayons
1 pair of children's scissors
16 no. 2 pencils (preferably sharpened)
1 chubby eraser
1 16-color set of watercolor paints
1 set of watercolor brushes in a variety of sizes
1 box of 8 washable markers
1 box of colored pencils
1 package oil pastels
1 thin highlighter
3 glue sticks
1 eight-ounce bottle of liquid school glue
2 clear disposable Scotch tape dispensers
1 plastic pencil sharpener (small enough to fit in art box)
1 eight-ounce bottle of Expo white board cleaner
1 package of at least 4 dry erase markers (dark colors are preferred, do not get yellow please)
2 Wite-out bottles (liquid paper to blot out mistakes)

Note: Please choose small packages so these items will easily fit into a shoebox.
Please do NOT send art kits.

*Construction paper and some other items will be ordered and you will be invoiced for them.

Other items that need to be labeled with your child's name that will NOT be in the art box above:
Lunch box or container with appropriate utensils
Sturdy book bag or backpack
12 solid-colored pocket folders with fasteners or prongs (4 red, 4 yellow, 4 green - *If you cannot find one of these colors, please get 4 of another color. Please, no black.)
2 sturdy pocket folders for computer and computer lab
2 packages of wide-ruled notebook paper
Painting smock or shirt for art or science
1 - 1 " 3-ring binder with lined writing paper and (4) pocket dividers (label the binder "World Languages")
1 - Language dictionary (from Barnes and Noble = Langenscheidt Spanish-English / English-Spanish for the Spanish students OR Langenscheidt German-English / English-German for the German students, PLEASE DO NOT SUBSTITUTE)

Other items that do not need to be labeled with your child's name:
3 roll of paper towels
2 box of tissues
1 container hand sanitizer
1 soft soap bottle (refill bottles are welcomed)
2 large containers of Clorox/Lysol Wipes
2 packages of copy paper (500 sheets)
1 white poster board or last year's art portfolio

Inventory last year's supplies and recycle all that you can. Please be prepared to replenish our supplies throughout the year as needed. Teachers will send a note home in Thursday folders to let you know what to send.

BRING EVERYTHING EXCEPT THE LUNCH CONTAINER TO ORIENTATION.
