Grades 9-12 Official Uniform - Girls

Chapel Days (Wednesday) and other specified days


Tops

  • Solid white cotton dress shirt or blouse (long or 3/4 sleeved without crest ).
  • ONLY the short blouse style, with straight bottom, may be left untucked; Shirt style, with rounded shirt tail, must be tucked.
  • Girls should show no cleavage or midriff; No visible camisoles
  • Cardigan with logo: Purchased from Land’s End

Bottoms
* Dark khaki is the uniform color; no light khaki, sand, stone,  off-white, gray, olive green, brown, etc.

  • Dark khaki pants (No shorts or capris for official days)
  • Dark khaki skirt or skort (mid-thigh length – approximately 4” above the bend of knee)
  • Only small, non-pleated pockets are allowed on bottoms; no cargo pants
  • No jumpers; no low-rise; no corduroy

Footwear

  • Shoe color must be black, brown, or navy

Accessories

  • Belts should blend with the uniform and are at the discretion of the administration.
  • No piercings other than ears; no visible tattoos
  • Hair must be of natural tone or color
  • Hair must be neat, out of eyes.
  • Hair style and length are at the discretion of the administration.
  • Makeup and jewelry must be understated and are at the discretion of the administration

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday

Tops

  • Any solid color polo shirt (short sleeve or long sleeve), tucked
  • White or blue oxford shirt
  • Oakbrook crest allowed, but not required; other emblems allowed, if small
  • Boys’ options: Navy sport coat or solid navy sweater vest
  • Girls’ options: Navy cardigan or solid navy sweater vest
  • Girls should show no cleavage or midriff
  • No visible camisoles or undershirts (boys – 2 open buttons allowed)
  • Oakbrook/Knights outerwear allowed at any time
  • Only small emblems allowed on all other outerwear worn inside the building

Bottoms
*Khaki only; No off-white, brown, green, or gray

  • Khaki pants or shorts (mid-thigh length – approximately 4” above the bend of knee)
  • Girls: Uniform khaki skirt or skort (mid-thigh length – approximately 4” above the bend of knee)
  • Girls: Plain Khaki Capri pants
  • No jumpers; no low-rise
  • Khaki corduroy may be worn on non-official days only
  • No cut-off "fringes" on shorts, skirts, or skorts

Footwear

  • Tennis shoes or any close-toed shoes, heels no higher than 2"
  • No bright or neon colors

Accessories

  • Belts should blend with the uniform and are at the discretion of the administration.
  • No piercings other than ears for girls; no piercings for boys; no visible tattoos
  • Hair must be of natural tone or color
  • Hair must be neat, out of eyes, and off shoulders for boys.
  • Hair style and length are at the discretion of the administration.
  • Makeup and jewelry must be understated and are at the discretion of the administration

Friday Dress Code

  • Only Oakbrook/Knights tops allowed
  • Jeans must not be “cut-offs,” extremely tight, have holes, rips, or chains.
  • “Sagging” pants or low midriff attire will not be acceptable.
  • Shorts and skirts must follow the mid-thigh rule.
  • No platform shoes, heels, or flip-flops.
  • Accessory and make-up rules still apply

Other Non-uniform Days

  • All Friday dress code rules apply
  • Students may not wear tank tops, spaghetti straps, midriff tops, or hats.
  • All tops should completely cover the student from collarbone to below the waist, including back and shoulders.
